                              Baba is coming from a griot family which means he is born in to music.

                             His father was a very good and   famous djembe player and Baba startet to have

                             his first jobs  with his father already when he was 7 years old.

1988                    Baba joined the Burkina Ballet National ( Dance and Music troup ) and travelled

                              with the group  to France   Baba was the first child    To be selected to perform with

                              the group and support his father as a support  player until 1992 where his father

                               left  the group.

1992 - 1995        Baba carried on as a lead drummer in Burkina Ballet National where they also performed

                              at the  French  opera house in BF

​

1995                     Baba created his own group Yerelon in Burkina Faso , that is still touring op to today 2025

​

1996                     won the competition of the festival SNC with Yerelon and got for real opertunity to travel

                              with  his music  Travelled every where  Baba go hired to t a  lot of job every where with

                              different bands, musician.etc.

​

1999 – 2005       MOVED TO UK Baba got a contract to work with a group called a ADJIDO in UK as a lead

                              drummer  with there  dance group and drumming ,  They toured around in Europe .

​

2005-2007          Baba Startet Drum Café with Brett Schelinger , that today still are in 28 countries in the

                               World  doing  teambulding for 50-5000   people with companies and at speciel occasion

                               like at the wembly station for  5000 people. Also performing  for the Queen  Elisabeth II ,

                               Mandela, etc  At the time of being in UK Baba also did jobs with Elton John, Peter Gabriel,

                               Stewie Wonder, for special parts of Africanmusic

2005- 2008         BesideS Drum Café Baba started his group Jelly Masa with 9  nationalty  , and performed

                                with  his show  at the Royal Theatre , with full house. Glasgow Festival,

                                Edinborough Festival for  1 moonth performance with full house every night.

                                Baba also  the same time  had his drumming classes based in London 2 times a week.

2009 -  2013        Started  working with African Footprint in Denmark and toured with them

                                Touring with Mossa Jallo to a lot of Danish Schools​

​

2014                      Teaching   at   Performance House School in Silkeborg in African culture and Music

                                Big Show in Nortcraft Theatre  Aalborg with kids

                                Guest Teacher at Royal Music Academy in Aarhus

​

2015 -   2020      Touring with his Group Yerelon in Burkina Faso , coming to 

                               Utumanduni Festival in Denmark,  Building instruments , selling instruments

​

2020  - 2022       Meet his Danish Wife Rikke  and got married , end  2022 moved to Germany

​

2020-2022          Corona was as every body know difficult time, so different smaller job with different

                               dancers,   artists , building instruments.

​

2022-2024          Starting his own group Baba Kone World Music , in Germany with among his 3 talented

                                boys., that also live in Germany 

                               Drumcafe Europe doing Teambuilding Shows around Osterich  , Norway, Germany,

                               Nikolaj Rosengreen Baba Kone Duo  Spanish Guitar player with different  shows                      

                               Eliza Boye Mouritzen Danish Artist, dancer , african dancer, violinist, singer.

                               Baba Kone Interactive drum shows for birthdays,  weddings    

                               

2025                      Touring the world with our  music, dance and culture show  Baba Kone World Music ,

                               African Feeling,
